Installation of the Entitlement Agent for Evergreen//One

In order to deliver Evergreen//One services, Pure must be able to monitor and manage certain configurations on our service infrastructure over time. This is done through the Pure1 Entitlements agent and Pure1 Edge Services. Deployment of the Entitlements agent is a required step for all Evergreen//One licenses.

To To install the Entitlements agent, first you must enable Pure1 Edge Services.

Once Pure1 Edge Services are enabled in Pure1, you can install the Entitlement agent from Pure1, in the Edge Services page. The Entitlement Agent must be installed in each array in your Evergreen//One license that is on Purity version 6.7 and above. Pure1 will not allow you to install the Entitlement Agent on arrays on the Purity version before 6.7. In addition, only users with the roles of Resource Admin or Org Admin can install agents. The Entitlement Agent can be found on the Agents tab of the Edge Service page, on this card. Here's a screenshot below

Once the Entitlement Agent is installed on the array or arrays in your Evergreen//One license, you are done! There is nothing else you need to do, and Pure1 will automatically handle passing the appropriate entitlements for your license to those arrays.
