Which FlashBlade model to use?

While First-generation FlashBlade or FlashBlade//S is the preferred choice for Splunk SmartStore, FlashBlade//E is successfully tested for Splunk SmartStore.

Even within FlashBlade//S, both the models (S200 & S500) can be used based on the requirement, capacity or performance.

Meanwhile, FlashBlade//E is the choice for unstructured data where long-term retention, economics, efficiency and sustainability are key requirements versus performance.

Please work with the Everpure Sales team who can suggest the right FlashBlade model for your Splunk SmartStore environment based on your retention, read and write requirements.
