Everpure's ODM definition sets the hcheck_interval to 10. This default is lower than the rw_timeout on Everpure devices where active paths are not being checked; in such cases, a shorter interval is not expected to impact SAN performance.
IBM recommends configuring hcheck_interval to a value greater than rw_timeout. Since this setting is under evaluation, you may wish to consider using the IBM-recommended value based on your operational preferences and requirements.
