Best Practices for writing KB's:
1. Always set the images to "Responsive" so they work on mobile.

Problem
Use this section to describe the problem that the customer is having.
The performance of ZFS I/O requests is poor when using Emulex 8Gbps FC.
Solution
Let the reader know how to fix the problem. If a permanent fix is in the works, please list the JIRA, and update this KB with the permanent solution i.e. "Upgrade to 5.x" when it is solved.
This is a known issue on Oracle Solaris that has been permanently fixed in Oracle Solaris 11.3.4.5.0 (or greater). Oracle has documented a workaround which you can find in Doc ID 2100829.1 on the Oracle support site.
TSE Note: We prefer to refer the customer to the Solaris official documentation to resolve the issue. For internal reference, here is the workaround:
From our investigation result, we have found out that this issue can be avoided when setting the following in /etc/system.
set zfs_vdev_enable_mvector=0
I would highly recommend that we suggest the customer upgrade, or contact Solaris support to enact the workaround.
