Why Renew Certifications Every Three Years?

Certifications need to be renewed every three years to ensure that all credential holders keep their skills up to date as products or solutions evolve.

What are my Renewal Options?

When renewing your certification, there are two paths you can take:

  1. Continued Education & Retesting: The primary path to renewal is to retake the certification exam. You may also revisit training, or consume continuing education courses as they become available.

  2. PEAK Working Group: If you are a leading expert and feel additional training is unnecessary, an alternative path may be available to you by joining a PEAK Working group. Depending on your level of engagement, this may fulfill the renewal requirements.

What is a Lifetime Charter Badge?

As an early achiever of exam certification, you will be awarded a special Lifetime Charter Member Badge, recognizing your pioneering accomplishment. In addition to the Lifetime Charter Badge, you will also receive the standard certification badge for the same exam. The standard certification badge needs to be renewed every three years to demonstrate that your skills remain current.
