1.03 - SafeMode

Objective Subtopics:

  • Describe the difference between eradicate and destroy
  • Distinguish between various types of SafeMode (array wide SF on FlashArray, per P group on FlashArray, object SafeMode for FlashBlade, FlashBlade File SafeMode)
  • Use each of the following features: Object Lock, Freeze-Locked Objects, and Retention Lock with object on FlashBlade
  • Describe what SafeMode Management and Self-Service SafeMode is, what problems they solve, and how to use

1.04 - Protection Groups

Objective Subtopics:

  • Manually create and remove a snapshot
  • Prior to going offline, establish RPO with customer

  • Describe default protection

  • Explain what object types protection groups apply to
