Use storage policy based management (SPBM)...seriously. Policy based management of your VVol VMs will unlock many of the great features of VVols. Then also use the Pure vSphere Web Client Plugin.
Another point I'd like to make is that while a lot of these workflows take a bit of work to go through, Pure does want to make them as simple as we can in the future. We are working on getting more of these workflows implemented in both the vSphere Client Plugin and vRO. As these workflows are improved in the future, this KB will continue to be updated.
