The NFS VAAI VIB component can be installed through ESXi shell, PowerCLI or through VMware Lifecycle Manager (vLCM).

The component can be upgraded through ESXi shell, PowerCLI or through vLCM.

The user guide is found here.

Note: Version 1.4.0 has NFSv3 UNMAP support which was enabled in ESXi 9.0. 1.4.0 should only be used with ESXi 9.0 and later. Use 1.3.0 for ESXi 8.0 and earlier.
