General
Version 4.2.1 of the Everpure vSphere HTML Client Plugin supports vSphere (vCenter and ESXi) version 6.5 and later and Purity version 4.10 and later.
Users can upgrade to this version of the plugin from previous release version 4.x or higher.
What’s New
- Reintroduced support for vSphere 6.5 (plugin version 4.2.0 introduced an issue that blocked 6.5 support)
- URLs in array list are clickable and will launch the FlashArray GUI in a new tab
- Improved error handling for Pure1 connection failures. Specific errors will be properly surfaced up to the user if authentication fails.
- Accidental preceding or proceeding white space in Pure1 JWT will be automatically removed if included when copy/pasting into the authentication panel.
Known issues
- No RBAC support
- Not certified for any vSphere release. Patch releases (ex. 4.2.x) are not certified, but still fully supported by Everpure. Customers looking for certified releases only should wait for the next minor release (ex. 4.x.0) .
- New lines or line breaks that are accidentally included when copy/pasting a JWT into Pure1 authentication are not automatically removed. Remove line breaks manually (if they exist) through a text editor like Notepad. This situation will be automatically handled in a future release.
