This topic describes how to force delete an AVS Storage Container via the Everpure vSphere Plugin.
After deleting (destroying) a Datastore (see previous section here), the corresponding AVS Storage Container is still visible on the Azure portal and might show some Unique Capacity. AVS Storage Container is now in "soft delete" state and system waits for 3 days until all underlying resources are completely removed.
To force delete the AVS Storage Container before the 3 days period will timeout, please proceed with the cleanup procedure outlined below to remove all associated datastore snapshots, metadata and free up the underlying Azure resources:
After the Cleanup procedure finishes, the AVS Storage Container is deleted together with all associated snapshots and metadata and underlying Azure resources.
