To run and manage the service from the Azure Portal, you need to deploy a Everpure Cloud resource into a selected region. The resource represents the enablement of the service in the selected region for the specified subscription.
Deploy the service
-
In the search bar in Azure Portal, search for Everpure. Then, select the Azure Native Everpure Cloud Service.
-
Click on the Create button.
-
In the Basics tab for your resource, configure the following details:
-
Subscription: Select the subscription you provided to Everpure representatives.
-
Resource group: Either create or select a resource group.
-
Resource name: Enter a name for the service resource.
-
Region: Select the same region where you deployed the AVS cluster.
-
Billing Details: Please make sure you have selected correct pricing Plan in this section or click on Change plan link to select different one.
-
You can select between On-demand/1 Year Capacity or 3 Year Capacity subscription plans.
-
-
Company details: Enter the basic information about your company, including the company name, address, and other relevant details.
-
-
Click Review + create, then click Create.
-
Wait for the resource to be created. Typically, this process takes about 1-2 minutes.
Create Storage Pool
Once the service is deployed, we need to create our first Storage Pool.
-
Within the Azure portal open the service resource detail, go to the Settings tab and click on Storage Pools.
A Storage pool resource represents a capacity allotment, which can be consumed by AVS. It's possible to create multiple Storage Pools.
-
Click on Create a new storage pool button and configure following details:
-
Resource group: Select the same resource group as during creating the service. (recommended)
-
Storage Pool name: Enter a name of the storage pool resource. This resource will be associated and operate as a datastore to the selected AVS resource.
-
Availability zone (AZ): Select the same availability zone as the AVS resource is deployed in.
-
Performance: Select a desired performance level for the storage pool to be utilized by AVS cluster (you can change the performance anytime later).
-
Virtual network + Delegated subnet: Select the same virtual network (VNet) with delegated subnet, as described in Networking requirements section here.
-
-
Click Create and wait until the deployment is completed.
This operation can take up to 1 hour.
