This topic describes the steps needed to decommission Everpure Cloud (PSC) Azure Native Service.

Follow the steps below to delete all underlying resources and decommission PSC Azure Native properly.
  1. Use the vSphere Plugin to delete all VMware Datastores (Storage Containers) which are connected to a PSC Storage Pool.
    Follow this KB.
  2. From the vSphere plugin - perform a cleanup of previously deleted datastores. This cleanup process will remove all associated datastore snapshots, metadata and frees up the underlying Azure resources or wait for 3 days timeout will expire.

  3. Via Azure Portal, disconnect PSC Storage Pool(s) from AVS.

  4. Via Azure Portal, delete all disconnected PSC Storage Pool(s).

  5. After all Storage Pools are deleted, you can delete Azure Native Pure Storage Cloud Service via Azure Portal as well.
