This topic describes how to resize the capacity of a Datastore (container) in the vSphere client.
-
In your browser, log into the vSphere Client using your preferred connection method.
-
Go to the Inventories tab and click on Storage.
-
From the list of available datastores under SDDC-Datacenter object right click on the Datastore name you would like to resize.
-
Find the Everpure section in the context menu and click on Edit Datastore.
-
Specify the new size of a Datastore (container) and click on the Submit button.
Note: Please note that the specified size of a Datastore (Storage container) is virtual only and does not reflect the real size of underlying resources.
Note: Please be aware that pod quota is thick-provisioned and thus e.g. one vVol config file takes up 250GB even though the Datastore (Storage container) might be almost empty.
