This topic describes how to delete a storage pool in Everpure Cloud.

Important: Before deleting a storage pool, ensure that you have destroyed and cleaned up all datastores (AVS Storage Containers) associated with it.
  1. Go to your Azure Resource Group where the storage pool you are looking to delete is located.
  2. Click on the storage pool to view its details.
  3. Confirm that no AVS Storage Containers exist for this storage pool.

  4. Go to the Overview section of the storage pool and select Disconnect Azure VMware Solution at the top of the page.

  5. Click Disconnect to confirm the action.
Note: This operation can take up to one hour.
  6. After receiving the confirmation from Azure that Azure VMware Solution was successfully disconnected, you can proceed with deleting the storage pool.

Note: Following the disconnection process, you may occasionally see 'Inaccessible ' status for certain VMs and Datastores. To resolve this, please delete the affected VMs manually from the vSphere inventory. Once the VMs are removed, inaccessible Datastores will automatically disappear also.
