The process takes from 1 to 2 hours to complete. The mechanism of increasing the capacity of an Everpure Cloud Dedicated instance works by extending the backend storage (Azure Managed Disk) one by one. We recommend scheduling the capacity extension during off-peak hours, as the process may add a small load to the storage controller. This additional load could result in slightly slower response times or reduced performance for active workloads during the extension process.
