Before starting the walkthrough, make sure you have completed or prepared the following steps:
- Deploy Everpure Cloud Dedicated in two regions. Please check Everpure Cloud Dedicated on Introduction .
- Deploy jump/bastion VM to connect to Everpure Cloud Dedicated instance and other Azure VM app workload.
- Provision Azure VM with volume(s) and apply the iSCSI and MPIO best practices. Please review Connect hosts via iSCSI. Everpure Cloud Dedicated iSCSI mount VM Extension can also be used for host iSCSI configuration. Please review Configure iSCSI using Azure VM Extensions .
- Configure network connectivity between the two regions using VNET Peering. Please check Manage virtual network peering .
- Create a Recovery Services vault in the secondary region which you want to replicate VMs to. Please follow Azure VM disaster recovery to Azure .
