May 2026

Everpure Cloud Dedicated 6.10.6 released

AWS V50 available

A new, high performance EC Dedicated SKU is available for AWS. Offers significant increase in single-array performance, making it well suited for running larger-scale databases, EPIC workloads, Amazon Elastic VMware Service environments, high-throughput application stacks, and other demanding workloads.

Add support for dedicated hosts in AWS

6.10.6 adds support for deploying Everpure Cloud Dedicated AWS V50 controllers on AWS Dedicated Hosts.

Infrastructure Encryption for Storage Account

Everpure Cloud Dedicated 6.10.6 facilitates migration to Azure Storage Accounts with enabled infrastructure encryption via a Customer Driven Purity Upgrade (CDU).

Azure VM Scale Set Flex

Introducing Virtual Machine Scalability Sets with Flexible Orchestration (Flex) for EC Dedicated controller VMs enhances resiliency and availability. Placing controller VMs in different Fault Domains protects against rack hardware failures or maintenance in the underlying Azure host infrastructure.

April 2026

Everpure Cloud Dedicated 6.10.5 released

Alert Mitigation

A new mechanism was added to adjust HA failover alert severity based on the array's ability to serve I/O and estimated outage duration. This reduces alert fatigue while highlighting impactful events.

Bug Fixes

Fixed rare cases where arrays without NVMe front-end traffic failed over due to delayed "nvmef IO delayed" reports.

January 2026

Everpure Cloud Dedicated 6.10.3 released

Infrastructure Encryption (IE) for Storage Account

New Everpure Cloud Dedicated v6.10.3 deployments on Azure automatically enable Infrastructure Encryption for Storage Accounts, utilizing 256-bit AES for double encryption at the Azure Storage infrastructure level for enhanced security.

Resiliency Tunables for Azure

To harden array behavior against underlying infrastructure events, Everpure Cloud Dedicated 6.10.3 on Azure comes with a newly configured set of array-level tunables. These adjust how controllers interpret delayed I/O, coordinate takeovers, and manage internal leases so the array prefers riding out transient backend conditions rather than initiating a controller failover.

Bug Fixes

Everpure Cloud Dedicated v6.10.3 on Azure fixed an issue that could lead to controller failover due to cache drive latency spikes and excessive inflight cache operations.

November 2025

Everpure Cloud Dedicated 6.10.2 released

Everpure Cloud Dedicated V50MP2-R2 on Azure

A new high-performance Everpure Cloud Dedicated SKU on Azure. Offers significant increase in single-array performance. Please refer to release notes for more information.

August 2025

Everpure Cloud Dedicated 6.10.0 released

Everpure Cloud Dedicated for Azure now uses NVMe-based access for Managed Disks on Everpure Cloud Dedicated SKUs with Premium V2 SSDs. This enhancement helps keep Everpure Cloud Dedicated modern, forward-compatible, and aligned with future cloud platform developments. Furthermore, certain mixed workloads may see performance improvements when compared to SCSI backend for the same price.

For Everpure Cloud Dedicated for Azure V20MP2R2 arrays equipped with Premium v2 SSDs, maximum raw capacity has been expanded from 168 TiB to 308 TiB. This capacity increase is exclusive to new deployments utilizing version 6.10.0 or later; existing arrays will not automatically benefit from this expansion. Detailed capacity specifications for various SKUs and deployment types are available in the accompanying release notes.

Everpure Cloud Dedicated for Azure with Premium v2 SSDs can now be deployed in an expanded set of regions, including "No-zonal" regions characterized by a single datacenter. Potential minor performance variations for deployments in a no-zone region are advertised by Azure due to the nature of No-zone regions. Complete list of regions can be found in this article - Azure Regions Support.

NetworkAccessPolicy and PublicNetworkAccessTwo Azure Managed Disks policies have been explicitly configured to their most restrictive values. This adjustment has no impact on customer experience, and the new settings are automatically applied upon upgrading to Purity version 6.10.0 or higher.

For comprehensive details regarding security updates, additional improvements, and fixes, please consult the primary Purity 6.10.0 Release Notes.

July 2025

June 2025

Everpure Cloud Dedicated 6.8.7 released

This version brings several updates to Everpure Cloud Dedicated on both AWS and Azure.

Automatic Capacity Upgrade for Everpure Cloud Dedicated for Azure enables customers to automatically increase total Everpure Cloud Dedicated capacity by adding additional storage to the array when total used storage capacity reaches the threshold of 80%. Along with the Automatic Capacity Upgrade, we released Selectable Initial Capacity, which allows customers to choose the array capacity during initial deployment.

Starting from this release it's possible to configure NVMe-TCP connection between Everpure Cloud Dedicated for AWS and AWS Linux based native VMs. NVMe-TCP is seen as the modern successor to iSCSI for block storage, particularly for workloads demanding high performance.

Both Everpure Cloud Dedicated for AWS and Everpure Cloud Dedicated for Azure now support over-the-wire encryption capability for arrays that are replicating using synchronous connections, adding to the existing support for encrypted asynchronous replication.

For more details, please refer to Purity Release Notes.
