Before you install and configure the Everpure Management Pack, review the release notes, verify that your system meets the minimum requirements, and verify that you have the appropriate privileges to perform the installation.

- When using the FlashArray adapter, ensure that port 443 is open between your VCF collectors and the FlashArray's management interfaces you are configuring for collection.
- This port is necessary because the communication between the FlashArray and the VCF collectors is via the REST API and the FlashArray uses port 443.

Verify the User Privileges
You must have the following credentials to install and configure the management pack:
- On VCF Operations, verify that you have virtual infrastructure administrator privileges. These credentials are required to install and configure the management pack on the VCF Operations server.
- On each Everpure FlashArray, verify that the Purity user account with a minimum of read-only privileges. These credentials are required to collect data from the FlashArray.
Note:
The Purity user account can be either a local FlashArray administrator such as pureuser or a Purity user enabled through a directory service such as Microsoft Active Directory or OpenLDAP.
- You must have VCF Operations administrator privileges to view the adapter in the Solutions tab.
