With the release of VMware Live Recovery (formally known as Site Recovery Manager) 9.0.0 VMware made the decision to transition the Storage Replication Adapter (SRA) program from a fully certified program to a partner validated and partner supported program. While VMware will still support customers that are using VLR/SRM with storage replication adapters, customers can expect any SRA or external storage questions or issues to be redirected to their SRA's storage vendor.
This means that any SRA's developed and released by storage vendors would do not have a certification process with VMware from late 2025 and onward. And as such will no longer have listing updates on Broadcom's compatibility Matrix for VMware Live Recovery. Rather the developer of the SRA (in this case Everpure) will be responsible for providing support to customers using their SRA for external storage support. When you see that a specific version of the SRA is not listed in Broadcom's compatibility guide, that does not mean that the Everpure SRA does not work with that version of VLR/SRM. We will be updating the release timeline page to reflect the current tested, validated and supported versions of VLR and SRM.
You can find the SRA release history below, along with the release notes, download links, checksums, release dates and supported VLR/SRM versions.
