vSphere Plugin: Creating a Pod

1. In versions 5.5.0 and later, click an (1) array name hyperlink to be taken to the datastore management section.

   

2. In vSphere plugin versions earlier than 5.5.0, from the vSphere plugin home screen, select an array.

   Note: For an overview of what a Pod is, refer to Creating a Pod.
   

Go to the Datastore Management tab.

Click CREATE POD.

Create Pod dialog box opens.

In the Name field, enter a unique name for the pod.

(Optional) In the Quota field, enter a storage limit for the pod.

Click CREATE to create the pod.
