Adding an S3 VPC Endpoint
This appendix section shows you how to create an S3 VPC Endpoint. The following procedure also allows you to apply appropriate routes to the VPC Endpoint for your desired subnet.
- From the AWS console, navigate to the VPCs console.
- Click Endpoints.
- Click Create Endpoint.
- Select the S3 service. Make sure to pick Gateway type service.
- Select the following parameters:
- Select the desired VPC for your Cloud Block Instance.
- Select the route table associated with the private subnet for the Everpure Cloud Dedicated System interface.
- Set custom access policy if desired. Otherwise, leave as Full Access and click Create Endpoint.
Adding an DynamoDB VPC Endpoint
This appendix section shows you how to create a DynamoDB VPC Endpoint. The following procedure also allows you to apply appropriate routes to the VPC Endpoint for your desired subnet.
- From the AWS console, navigate to the VPCs console.
- Click Endpoints.
- Click Create Endpoint.
- Select the DynamoDB service
- Select the following parameters:
- Select the desired VPC for your Cloud Block Instance.
- Select the route table associated with the private subnet for the Everpure Cloud Dedicated System interface.
- Set custom access policy if desired. Otherwise, leave as Full Access and click Create Endpoint.
Verify the route created for VPC endpoints
- Navigate to the VPC console.
- Select the private subnet used for the Everpure Cloud Dedicated System interface and check that there is a routing entry for both your Amazon S3 and DynamoDB VPC Endpoints.
