Pure provides asynchronous replication of LUNs or groups of LUNs between FlashArray units. Asynchronous replication uses snapshot replication to replicate point-in-time consistent copies of multiple LUNs. These replicated snapshots can be taken at the same point in time for a group of LUNs so that the recovery point is identical for all LUNs, which is vital for applications like SQL Server since databases can have data and transaction log files distributed across multiple LUNs.
